Science Day - 10th November 2021

We are very excited that our Science Day is coming up on Wednesday 10th November. Your child can either dress up as a scientist or wear their normal school uniform. Any questions, please let us know.

Star of the Week

This week's star of the week is Aob-Aoon. She has been a knowledgeasaurus (knowledgeable) and communicatordon (communicator) by answering lots of questions in class. Aob-Aoon has been a little apprehensive to speak in front of the class, but this week she has shown a new found confidence. Well done Aob-Aoon!

Maths

This week, we have been exploring numbers 1 to 5. The children were also introduced to the concept 'subitising', which means when you can automatically see an amount without needing to count. In addition, the children practiced number writing, finding one more and one less and were introduced to the vocabulary 'odd' and 'even'. 

Unit of Inquiry

This week we have returned back to our year-long unit 'Who We Are'. We have been talking about who our teachers are whether in school or outside of school and what do they do to help us. Here are some pictures below:

This week we are continue to learn yor yak ย .We learn the vocabulary beginning with yor yak ย .We know how to write yor yak correctly and we also have fun with making giant mask too.

Library

Our library session is Tuesday afternoon. Please make sure you have returned your child's book to school by Monday to ensure they can take out a new book on Tuesday. If your child does not bring their books back, they will be unable to take another book out until the books are returned.
