Unit of Inquiry - How we express ourselves - Unit 2
This week, we decided to do a standalone unit week and go back to how we express ourselves. We focused on the artist 'Yayoi Kusama' and made our own paintings inspired by her artwork. Here is a sneakpeak and more will be revealed in the 'Our Journey' event on Thursday 2nd June. :) This is a link to Yayoi Kusama's Wikipedia page.
Community Helper - Ms Emmi
This week, Ms Emmi came to talk to us about her role as our school principal and how she helps her UDIS community. Thank you for coming to visit us. :)

This week, Vanilla's Mum talked to us about her gold shop. She showed us how to identify the difference between real and fake gold and let us weigh some jewelry from her shop. Thank you for coming to visit us. :)
