Our Journey - Thursday 2nd June 2022 - 8:30am start
Our UDIS students are looking forward to sharing many aspects of their learning at this very special end of year event. Preparations have begun. There will be an opportunity to explore our campus and enjoy some special live performances. We hope you will be able to attend.

Phonics
This week, the children have been working on their end of year phonics assessments in preparation for their transition into Year 1. Today, you will receive their Tapestry observation, which will give you an insight into their assessment along with their next steps.
Maths
This week, we have started the end of year Maths assessments in preparation for their transition into Year 1. These will be continued with next week as well.
Thai

Community Helper - Pyne's Dad
This week, Pyne's Dad came to talk to us about his role as a civil engineer. We made concrete and built our own constructions using special blocks. Thank you for coming to visit us. :)
Community Helper - Chan's Mum
This week, Chan's Mum talked to us about what energy is, including renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. We also were able to play with some toys that operate using solar power. Thank you for coming to visit us. :)
Swimming
This week, it was the girls turn to have their swimming lesson.

Library
Our library day is 'Tuesday afternoon'. Please make sure your child brings their book by before Tuesday to ensure they can change their library book. Next week is the final library book week. After that, there will be no more library checked out until the next academic year.
